About Rotonde Hospitality

Rotonde Hospitality specializes in creating places that are genuinely popular and connected to people. Our concepts are not built around exclusivity or the idea of being seen, nor around the competition for the biggest bottle or the most ostentatious lifestyle. Instead, we focus on authentic places for real people — venues where guests come for the atmosphere, the energy, and the warmth of the service.

We believe that a successful venue is first and foremost a place where people feel comfortable, welcomed, and eager to return. Our spaces are designed with care and attention to detail, but always with the goal of creating a natural, lively, and approachable environment.

Over the years, we have developed a strong ability to create concepts that are perfectly adapted to their surroundings. Before launching a project, we carefully analyze the neighborhood, the local dynamics, and the audience. From there, we build concepts that fit naturally within their environment and that are designed to succeed over the long term.

This ability to understand locations, neighborhoods, and communities — and to create concepts that resonate with them — is what truly defines Rotonde Hospitality.

About Pierre Leclerc

Pierre Leclerc is the founder of Rotonde Hospitality, an independent hospitality group built on the belief that the most successful venues are those that feel authentic, welcoming, and deeply connected to their surroundings.

Originally from France, he began his career in the restaurant and nightlife industry at a young age, developing a passion for hospitality that would later shape his entrepreneurial path. After gaining early experience in London and working alongside respected figures in the cocktail and bar scene, he moved to Paris where he continued refining his vision of hospitality — places where atmosphere, design, service, and energy come together naturally.

In 2006, he founded La Rotonde Bastille in Paris, a venue known for blending restaurant, bar, and nightlife culture into a single space. Designed to evolve throughout the day and into the night, it introduced an approach that would define his work: creating lively yet accessible places where guests come not to be seen, but simply to enjoy the moment.

In 2016 he opened Sunny, a Franco-Californian restaurant located next to Parc des Buttes-Chaumont in Paris. Built around fresh ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere inspired by California dining culture, the restaurant quickly developed a loyal neighborhood following.

In 2019, he expanded internationally with the opening of Azteca South Beach in Miami Beach. The large-scale venue combines restaurant, bar, live music, rooftop spaces, and round-the-clock energy, reflecting his ability to develop concepts that resonate with both locals and international visitors.

Across Paris and Miami, his projects share the same guiding philosophy: thoughtfully designed spaces, genuine hospitality, and concepts adapted to their environment. Each project begins with a careful analysis of the neighborhood and its audience, allowing the concept to integrate naturally into the community it serves.

Today, through Rotonde Hospitality, he continues to develop hospitality ventures internationally with a focus on creating places that stand the test of time — venues defined not by trends or exclusivity, but by atmosphere, authenticity, and the people who bring them to life.

With an established presence in both Europe and the United States, the group is now pursuing further development across the American market while also exploring opportunities in Latin America, continuing to build concepts designed to become lasting destinations within their communities.
